| Other Information | Beginning therapy can feel both courageous and vulnerable. My goal as your therapist is to create a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where you feel truly seen and heard. I view therapy as a collaborative process—one that unfolds at the pace of trust. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns to help you build greater self-awareness, deepen self-compassion, and navigate life’s challenges with more clarity and ease. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with twenty years of experience in both clinical and nonprofit settings. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women’s/Gender Studies from Skidmore College. I show up authentically for my clients, and bring a feminist, LGBTQ-inclusive, mindfulness-based, and Internal Family Systems-informed approach. I am a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher with extensive training and experience in mindfulness meditation, so I love incorporating body-based and somatic approaches into our healing work. |
