I am a license-eligible Master’s-level clinical mental health counselor with more than 4 years’ experience providing group and individual therapy in a psychiatric day treatment setting. My professional interests include addiction recovery, the mental health applications of contemplative practices, and the development of social and emotional skills in adult learners. I am especially focused on psychoeducational approaches that integrate meditation and psychotherapy as a resource for psychological and social well-being. I have been an Insight Meditation practitioner since 2006, with an interest in early Buddhism and an affinity for the Thai Forest tradition of Theravada Buddhism.
