Areas of Specialty

As an interdisciplinary artist and practitioner with a Master’s in Social Work and a specialization in clinical practice, I bring a unique blend of mindfulness, psychotherapy, arts-based creativity, and public health expertise to my work. My approach is deeply rooted in serving historically marginalized communities, with a focus on culturally adapting mindfulness-based interventions to support holistic well-being. Currently, I am gaining certification as a Level One MBSR teacher with Brown University’s Mindfulness Center and School of Public Health, Teacher Intensive Assessment (TAI) training through an historic inaugural 2024 scholarship that aligns with my commitment to historically underserved racial and ethnic minority communities. Additionally, I am certified by the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation and training under supervision with the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation. My practice incorporates arts-based liberatory research and digital storytelling to enhance health literacy and foster resilience. My Ph.D. studies and research as part of the Antioch University Graduate School of Leadership & Change centers on digital arts-based ways of integrating mindfulness with creative storytelling, offering non-pharmacological paths to healing. I center love ethics as a guiding principle, helping individuals cultivate awareness, healing, and self-love in their lives.
