Dr. Matt is passionate about the decolonization/re-Indigenization of mental health and centering the mental wellness needs and well-being of people with marginalized identities.

He specializes in working with the following communities: People of African descent across the diaspora (Afro-Latinx, African-American, Afro-Caribbean, Black, and African Immigrant) and who are racialized as Black; Indigenous and First Nations Peoples; Latine/Latinx individuals; People of the Global Majority; Couples; Older adults; 2SLGBTQIA+, gender diverse, and sexually expansive folks
