Let’s make IMP a place of connection and community again, post-pandemic. Two decades ago, the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy emerged out of deep friendships that were formed and nurtured at in person gatherings in homes and in public spaces. Connection and community is at the heart of IMP. The leadership of IMP is seeking your input regarding rekindling the connection and community of IMP in the era of Zoom with its challenges and opportunities. |
President’s Tea November 9, 2023 6:30 – 8pm EST Join IMP President Doug Baker for a cup of tea and a Zoom conversation about IMP and how we can support each other as a community of like-minded practitioners. We will start with a brief centering meditation and explore what you are struggling with in applying mindfulness in clinical work, what’s lighting you up, and how IMP programs in upcoming months might be a resource. Doug Baker is a therapist in Cambridge, MA, the founder of Cambridge Mind Body, a holistic mental health practice, and a Kripalu Yoga teacher. Along with conventional office-based meetings, Doug offers nature and mindfulness-based therapy immersions for individuals and couples in New England and Europe. |
