Discovering the Depths: IMP Board AMA

Get to know the Board of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy, the only organization of its type that focuses on training in the integration of meditation and psychotherapy.

The integration of meditation and psychotherapy has been referred to as part of the “third wave” of psychotherapy. Join Board members for a series of ask-me-anything (AMA) on topics related to the integration of mindfulness, meditation, and psychotherapy: research, retreats, psychedelics, children and adolescents, and self-compassion techniques.

Transforming Negativity is the Central Mission of the Tibetan Buddhist Vajrayana. In this practice vehicle, problematic emotions are regarded the raw material for awakening. From a cryptic point of view, one might say, “No Confusion, No Awakening.” The Dalai Lama has often said, in fact, that our worst enemies are really our best friends because without them, we would never cultivate virtue.

Cost: “Dāna” refers to the practice of generosity or giving, and a means to develop selflessness and compassion. This program is offered with an opportunity to practice Dana. Suggested: $10 members; $20 nonmembers. Donate: https://meditationandpsychotherapy.org/contribute/
