Personal Description

Integrating my experience in Mindfulness and Meditation with current research and my previous training has been my main clinical focus over the past 12 years. My previous training includes treatment of family of origin issues, relational difficulties, trauma, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. I draw from a variety of disciplines, which include psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy, inner child work and attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive therapy, and play therapy for children. One of my main goals is to empower people to participate actively in their own healing process, through self exploration and the development of mindfulness skills. Many of my clients report significant diminishing of symptoms, strengthening of relational skills, building resilience, and developing healthy coping strategies. To go beyond treatment of symptoms and help my clients make lasting changes in their lives has been my mission. I have 30 years of clinical experience and have been in private practice in Arlington Center for the past 10 years. I see adults, couples, children and families.
